Castrol Edge - Is 4 litres enough?
« on: February 11, 2012, 12:25:38 pm »

Is 4 litres enough for an oil change service?

I've heard the MK5 needs 4.5 litres, so why do they sell it in 4 litre cans?

Do they do that on purpose? If so, that's taking the p*ss.  :fighting:

Even though there will be residue oil in the system that will never drain, putting 4 litres of fresh oil in only wouldn't be a good move.

I've always bought two cans Ian, which makes it £80+ each oil change, but means you can use the rest of the oil in the second container to maintain your oil level after that.

That won't be Castrol Edge from the Stealers for that money. I wouldn't put anything else in. Look at all the threads on Castrol Edge on here.

Is it branded as Castrol?
