rubbery graunch/low frequency 'squeak' changing gear
« on: February 12, 2012, 02:49:27 pm »
Have lived with this for a bit now but I ought to look into it more.

I thoiught it started after picking it back up from the body shop but now not convinced as I only had it 2 weeks before dropping it in for paint - so perhaps I just wasnt tuned into it.

I get a noise when changing gear....If I am super deliberate with the change I can silence it but 90% of the time I hear a sort of rubbery graunching  noise - so I assume its probably a mount. It deffo has a hard 'rubbery' quality to it, not a knock.

I am thinking more engine mounts as opposed to wishbone bushes etc...

Any thoughts?
