Bluefin handset should act as a code reader on any OBDII equiped car regardless of whether it has the Bluefin software on it or not, AFAIK
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

Mile-muncher ordered: MkVI 1.6 TDi BlueMotion Match DSG with leather, winter pack, luxury pack, fogs, climate control, Dynaudio pack, RCD510 with DAB & MDI, flat tyre indicator

The Bluefin manual says that this option is not available for all vehicle applications, and it certainly does not appear to be operational on my 2007 Ed30, sadly.

Then I stand corrected - I was lead to believe it worked as a generic fault code reader. Apologies. My Bluefin experience is entirely FMC based. Clearly there are some differences with the VAG versions. Sorry for the confusion.

I tried the option button the weekend.

It cam up with "do you want to read DPM codes" or similar I said yes and it reported back "no codes found"
