Reg plate bulbs
« on: February 14, 2012, 07:40:00 am »
If you change to the brighter number plate bulbs is there a chance they'll cause an error in my system or give me a warning light on the dash?

I see the ebay blurb is all super dooper from a seeler's point of view - which ones are not going to give me a warning light?

Thanks

This comes up a lot!

Me and a number of others on here have gone for the xtec bulbs. They wont give any errors and are a brilliant improvement over OEM :happy2:

From their own site:

I swapped out the bulb unit for scirroco / mk6 GTi led ones but it was more expensive than chancing it with ebay bulbs.
