Mats - GT 5 Door
« on: February 13, 2012, 10:40:16 am »
Can anyone recomend a good set of mats?

Noticed a LOT of people seem to have the OEM rubber ones, not cloth......

- How much are the rubber mats?
- How much are the rubber boot liners to?

Pics of cloth ones would be nice too

Had to be the rubber ones for me, given the amount of mud and stones which I seem to end up with inside my car each week.  I got a full set off a dealer on eBay for around £50 delivered.

Got a rubber boot liner too.  It came from roofbox.com and was about £45 when I bought it a couple of years back.  Awesome for saving the carpet in the boot!  Highly recommended purchase.

I paid £30 for the fronts only (ebay) Money well spent 3 years ago.
As for the liner Ive got a foam not rubber one. Not as good as rubber
but it has kept the boot mat immaculate.Only £25ish(ebay again)

Rubber ones from end of october untill end of march & then back to orginal carpet set. Genuine VW rubber mats work a treat & well worth the 30 quid price..
