Back in a Golf once again
« on: February 16, 2012, 07:02:02 pm »
Evening all! So today saw me drive to Glasgow to pick up my new car. Been missing my old GTI loads and as a result I only kept the K1 5 months.
Was on the look out for an Eddy - actually got offered a couple of straight swaps for the K1 but they were high mileage pretty much unloved examples.
I found myself looking more and more at R32s, always fancied one so decided to go for it and give one a bash!
It's an 06 plate, 5 door, DBP, DSG,leather, mfsw, highline, armrest, 6 disc changer and only 21000 miles!
Got some cosmetic tweaks planned. 1 st job will be a good polish and wax as it in dire need of it! It's much dirtier than the photo would suggest!

I'll chuck up some more pics once she's cleaner

Happy days! I'd love an R32 but I doubt I'll ever get one.

Cheers. I was really quite surprised how good the fuel consumption was on the way back up the road! Love the sound, a Milltek would make a big difference
