Ooooo not while running!

I was told the best way to clean it through would be to....

1. Make sure the car is warm/hot - after a drive.
2. Remove the sump plug
3. Start putting the oil through and let in drain straight through.....

Kinda wash it out....and helps remove crap from the sump.

Have a think about this, really. If your after a new engine, this is the way to go.

Why?

It's only the same thing as letting the old oil run out the sump plug. I can't see how letting some fresh oil drain through is going to cause the need of a new engine!

I was told it woould just flush it through and help move and small particals maybe in/around the engine and in the sump.

I don't see how it would cause any harm and if you look at this tutorial i did on using wurth engine flush i did the same.

I think people are getting confused thinking you meant having the engine running. You've pointed out that you didnt so i wouldn't worry about it. :happy2:

Forte motor flush and Forte diesel Treatment are the best on the market by a country mile, i stock both and have used all Forte products for the last 20 yrs and NOT ONCE have i had any problems, the diesel treatment is amazing, on older cars this treatment would clean the injectors and turn a 7% smoke reading to a 1.5%, if anyone wants a bottle of any Forte product i will let you have it at cost price  :happy2:

I've just had my engine flushed. I was getting problems with oil pressure which was traced to the Strainer in the oil pick up pipe being blocked.

I service my car every year (4,500 miles this year) using long life oil but when my mechanic dropped the oil and took the sump off, the sump was full of crap. He scrubbed it all out and did an engine flush before changing oil and filters. Engine now runs sweet as a nut, ready for a map :happy2:
