I'm about to bite the Lepsons refurb bullet, but reckon I need some new tyres with rim protectors before I do it. My front passenger 18" Monza 2 is so badly mashed that I nearly cry every time my Mrs reports the latest 'incident'
I don't want to spend all this money on getting them done only for it to happen again.
I put new Pirelli P Zero Rosso's on the front 3,000 miles ago, and they have been brilliant, but I reckon the 'Zero' in the name refers to rim protection!
The Vreds Settantas that I still have on the back have a decent looking rim protector. Is this one of the main reasons people with these wheels fgo for Vreds?
If so, do Pirelli, Continental or Michelin do a good allround tyre with a decent rim protector?
