r32 exhaust on a gttdi

hello all,

right im looking into putting a r32 exhaust on my mk5 gttdi 140, what i wanna ask is, what does it actually do? does it make it sound better or up the BHP, stuff like that,

I don't think you can fit a std R32 exhaust onto a standard GT......I believe you have to.

1. Just use a R32 back box and replace the GT back box (cut and welded) Gains/noise would be minimal, would be look only.

2. Have a full customer made exhaust to fit - giving BHP and noise
'VANDALISED' MK5 GT :( - RNS510 H, Bluetooth Armrest, MDI, 50gb hard drive, I can't park  sensors, Cruise Control, Highline Display, MFSW, Heated Seats, Remote Aux Heating System (Heats and Vents) Winter Pack, Heated & Folding Mirrors, Puddle Lights, Xenons, Headlamp Washers, Heated Washers, Auto lights and wipers, LED's, GTI brakes,, black R32 roof lining, Scirocco Rear View, Rear Footwell Lights

Well I only want it for looks. But getting a remap next year.

It won't fit due to the R32 being 4WD and having a different floorpan :happy2:

You will need a custom made exhaust, iv had one made for my tdi with a screamer in there, and I must admit it does sound good.. the more you rev the car the more it makes the ssssshhhhh noise and also at times it makes a dump valve noise when changing gear.. Look at the r32 exhaust tips and get it made and make sure your tips look as big as or same as the r32 ones and you should be okay :)
