I'd like to get an induction kit but don't particularly want to have to remove /modify the engine cover on my gti.
To be honest its mainly for the noise (v sad I know
) so not too bothered about hp gain figures. Has anyone tried the pipercross bog standard induction kit (~£100) for the gti??
Also sorry to be thick but what are the disadvantages of not having the intake pipework you get with twintakes /BDM kits etc - is it purely better performance gains or is there more to it than that??
