Shampoo - really depends on what you want. Majority are the same.

I used to like DJ BTBM but find it ineffective when the car is filthy. Great as a weekly wash shampoo during the summer though. My current fave is Duragloss 901.

Clay - depends on whether you need mild/medium/aggressive. Can't go wrong with the Megs smooth surface clay kit IMO. I now use Bilt Hamber Soft.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

Meg's #65 Professional Mirror Glaze gets the thumbs up from me. Leaves the car with a lovely glossy sheen after use. Don't know how well it works on a filthy car as i never allow her to get to that state  However i don't wash it every week, not even every fortnight, though i would if i could but a wife and child gets in the way of that  :drinking:

Mine gets a clean 2 a week with one proper one on a sunday! I have Major OCD  :signLOL:

and i live in the country so she gets stinking !

Its just the bottom of the door that is a bit gritty, i got rid of all the tar with AG Tar Remover but still some other marks that is stuck on so i assume clay would do the job!

you've got to be careful with clay - best to read a guide or two - it is possible to do more harm than good with the stuff and you'll also need a lube for it  :happy2:

Is that the Lather Shampoo?

Im using Megs Gold Class, but it can be a bit streaky.

I personally like Carlack 68. It's pretty inexpensive too.
