Smee mk2 Leon :)
« on: February 22, 2012, 12:13:01 am »
Bought my Seat Leon back in April 2011 basically moved from a citroen C4

1.6 HDI to the Leon 1 because i missed the speed of my old Seat ibiza and 2

my miles were about to severly reduce due to the fact i dumped the biggest

drain on my life grew some balls and got the car i wanted!!!

starts life as a bog standard 57 plate with 30k on the clock. picked it up

with FSH for £11k

she was spotless.

First Mod were Mercedes Plate Holders

Decided i wanted to change the filter next so Pflo was ordered from

Awesome!

next up was the Brodit Proclip

Decided id get my private plate fitted next along with some Eibach Sport

Lines

At this point i was well happy with my car but i needed to save for a

Cambelt change. a trip to Jabba was in order and whilst there the boys

fitted a Stage 1 Map :)

The drive home was awesome. its one of the smoothest maps i have ever

driven and i would definitely recommend them to any one. truely amazing.

Then came a simple little mod.Key covers from Seat

not made for my key made for the shape with the smaller Seat badge but

still does me :).

I was happy again and the car spent the last 6 months like this as i then

moved in to my new place got that all sorted and cracked on with my life

etc but then the bug kicked in again. might be something to do with the

speed buzz i got in the states when i did the Richard Petty NASCAR

experiance. i needed more. :)

a quick trip to a friend who was selling his cupra got me some second hand

parts. Forge Shifter and Full Turbo back 200 Cell Blueflame.

Beauty on my table

Then the problems came!!! so never got round to fitting them. basically

change the CAM follower and nicked the seal putting back in the car has

been leaking oil slowly for 9 months. so off it goes back to the garage.

had a new Seal fitted. the Exhaust fitted and the Quick shifter.

i have to admit the shifter is amazing the amount of throw is just right

now and was the best mod i have done thus far.

Car cleaned 20/02/12 exhaust fitted

and the front

eventually fitted my Jabba stickers

Not this forum but stuck my forum stickers on. (sorry guys)

now i was annoyed with kicking my Side Sills so decided i would make my own

sill covers as the OEM ones are well expensive. so made these from Carbon

Vynal.

started on the rear door

then the fronts

added a few more stickers

lol dont get me started on that!!!

RVP will go. But wenger im not sure about. the problem is i admit we dont win anything but because the we the club is run by Wenger we are also the most profitable. from a business prospective nothing comes close. also i like the fact were the only big club thats not owned which is another testament but unless we start winning something then he will have to go.

who do you replace him with? thats my worry Mouriniho as Wenger will go Madrid next. i dunno

Mmmm, I think Wenger will go upstairs!!!
You have 4 massive matches in a row now, and not sure if you'll win any of them?

Strangely i think the next 2 games are our decider. If we beat Spurs and then manage to pull back the Milan game i think we might go all the way as it mioght be the confidence boost we need.

we have Gerviniho back and Camberlain is looking ace

Today i have been playing with my car. first up i decided i wanted to change the lights. so a light smoke tint film added

Before

After

Also got round to finishing my engine cover. didnt have any black vinyl so did it in grey for now. think ill take it off and spray it when i get a chance to get it black.

you can see where i filled in the slope on the top left corner for the MAF sensor. so its more square :)

Here you can see where i cut the side bit off and then fibreglassed the end on to keep the line constant.

another little update for you all.

i needed to sort a few more things out on my car. as i have been having issues first up my clutch went right on the day of ED @ APS GB finished but i have managed so source one very cheap so that is being fixed at the end of the month along with the ABS pressure module sensor that is also gone.

But until then i needed to sort a couple of things. first up investigate the banging exhaust. car jakced up and this removed. :(

ordered a new one from Blueflame

to go with my all black look i am after i made a start on the grill. decided i would try shaddow chroming (ghost chroming in USA) basically using TINT spray to darken the chrome up.

fitted to the car.

Did the rear aswell

what do you think?
