I'm replaceing my standard radio with a pioneer dvd HU. When I first connected it with the adaptors I bought it worked but wouldn't turn off so after some research I've run a feed from the switched live on the aircon controls to the HU. When I turned the ignition on the HU turned on then went off after a few seconds, a message then came on the dash saying 'OIL SENSOR GARAGE'. Now when I turn the key and all the lights come on as usual, the oil light flashes and the same message appears.
Does anyone know what this could be and how to fix it? (its a 2005 standard gti and going to MOT next week so really need it sorted!)
