despite the challenge of riding at -22 degrees there were the occasional manmade obstacles such as ROADS that you had to cross!!

this is me.... doing it correctly... ie time the cars... point the board.... and commit

This is one of my mates... who didnt commit... went to slow....

subsequently stacked it in front of people and fcuked his a$$ bone...

i laughed ALOT, very loudly...for quite some time

..and here's my board, burton king 167

Stayed in Kitzbuhel, proper posh resort covered in bentleys, porches, astons and expensive shops.

I did dump 900 euros in the casino but that was small change compared to the majority who were throwing down 50k a hand!

More of a skiers resort but some killer boarding none the less

Very jealous!

Most winters I try and visit the Tirol; we stay in Scheffau which isn't far from Kitzbuhel (in fact I think the lift pass we buy lets you ski across to Kitzbuhel, but you'd have to make a day or so of it!).

Nice pictures too, makes me wish I could have gone this year  :sad1:

NIce pics there, I need to take more pics when I go, but lest we forget to lol.

Ischgl is full of money too, full of russian oligarchs with 20 y/o supermodel wives!!, was in the hugo boss shop eyeing up a nice shirt (a snip at £150) when a russian chap walked in dragging his knuckles across the floor, his wife looked like she was half his age and belonged on a model runway (she was extremely fit!), she laid a coat down on the counter (had fur of some sort obviously!) and I could not believe it when it came upto 14000 euro (For a coat!!!!), some serious money there.

A few days later were in an apres bar and sat on next table was a group of 6 teenage russian girls (probably from 14-17 y/o) and one of them asked her dad for some money for vodka, he pulled out this wad of 100 euro notes and gave her a wad of them, she went a bought a LARGE bottle of vodka (must ahve been a 5 litre bottle) whicch cost her 1000 euros, me and my mate could only laugh!.

I am going snowboarding again on 11th March, cant wait to thrash the wax off my K2 Recon Riser S Class board again (165), theres an APP on pihone called les2alpes which is a GPS app (FREE) and records your total descents, distance travelled etc etc, but more inporttantly your top speed!!, I managed 53.3mph in december so im going to try and best that  :happy2:
