Milltek R32 back box on 140 TDi??
« on: February 23, 2012, 06:14:41 pm »
Hi,

I have an R32 rear bumper sitting waiting to go on.
Would a Milltek rear box physically fit up against the TDi floor pan and match up with the exhaust hangers??
Would the rear box sit lower??

I understand the complete system wouldn't fit due to the 4WD configuration but was thinking if the rear box fitted up okay I would get an exhaust manufacturer to fabricate the pipework from the downpipe to the milltek box......

Has anyone tried this or seen both systems on the ground to compare??

Thank you!

Is it a Miltek R32 back box or a Miltek R32 style back box?

It's a Golf R32 (4WD) back box.

Think I'll get some measurements to compare the boxes.
I know the pipe into the R32 box will need modified to suit, fingers crossed the R32 box isn't deeper.......
Time will tell!

Thanks!
