wheel spacers

Hi all, I've just had my NQSBBK fitted, and had to get some 3mm universal spacers to get me home. I want to change these to some 5mm hubcentric ones as the clearance is minimal on the 3mm and I dont trust universal ones.
Has anyone got any suggestions on which ones to go for? Will I also need longer wheel bolts for 5mm spacers? and is it worth doing the rear aswell mainly for stance and to widen the track?

5mm won't be true hubcentric spacers i.e they won't have the lip.

so should i just stick with the 3mm ones i have then? whats the smallest hubcentric spacers you can get?

I think 10mm is the smallest you'll find with a lip. Unless you're doing it for cosmetic reasons I'd stick with the 3mm ones.

I'm surprised the NQSBBK doesn't fit behind Monza 2's?  :popcornsoda:

If you are running a spacer of any size I would be inclined to change the bolts to match.

Monzas need spacers IMO. You'll really notice an improvement with 10mm all round. I went for 15mm at the rear and 10mm at the front.

I think you can get 5 mil hub centric spacers. When DaveB was putting my kit together he found a company that does them i seem to remember. Also i ran normal 3 mil spacers with no problems. As long as you check all the parts regular they should be fine.  :happy2:

I didnt think they did until the wheels didnt go back on :signLOL:

Will the 3mm be ok on standard bolts until i get some bigger spacers sorted?

Are there any downsides to fitting spacers?

I've got the Forge Motorsport spacers. Ran them for a few years now with no issues whatsoever.
