Firstly where did you get the figures?  258bhp is the expected output with the mods you have but running stage 2 software......

I assume your car is a mk5 GTi?   :popcornsoda:

They are very high figures from a stage 1 tbh, but with the additional bolts achieveable.  I have just gone to stage 2 with an Evoms CAI and Milltek 2.75" dp/sports cat, estimated figures from this are 260 bhp.  I'm not chasing figures personally, I'm more interested in the driviblity, and imo its pretty awesome.
I would recommend having the map tweaked to accomodate the enchancements mate.

Having had my car with the OE downpipe and pre cat removed on a Shark Stage 2+ file I made 252bhp with an intake fitted.  I have now removed the intake and gone back to the OE engine cover but have fitted the HPFP and a BCS turboback exhaust.  As the Stage 2+ file is just short of their stage 3 file which gives about 280 bhp. I would guess that would give me around 260 to 270bhp max. The intake helps with top end power but only by about 10bhp on a K03 from what I have seen on recent graphs.
From a stage 2 file with the mods you have I would expect the power to be around 260bhp only not as good in the mid range due to the lack of an uprated HPFP.  I will be putting mine on Shark rollers next month to find out exactly what mine is developing, so it will be interesting what power your car makes :happy2:

fitted the intake today and can report that car is considerably quicker through mid range, not sure on the loud noise yet tho!!i will take the engine cover to the dyno to see excatly what gains we have...
i also thought that the 258 was high for stage 1 with no mods but hey i'm not arrgueing with  the results, car pulls really strong all way to the redline
