I ran 8mm non-centric H&R's for a while w/stock 18"x7.5" w/225-40 rubber. I needed longer bolts for them as stock bolt length only allowed less than 2 full turns.
It was also lowered to 25" through the center of the wheel from the ground to the top of the arch. With this set-up, it only rubbed hard when cornering over bumpy roads that caused bouncing. However, no damaged was caused by this.

Has anyone fitted 20mm spacers to the rear and have a picture? Considering getting some to sit behind the OEM Pescaras, might have to change tyres but they're nearly fully worn anyhow.

This is a pic of 18x8 w/225-40's, 45 offset, and 8mm spacers on the back.
This would = oem 18x7.5 w/225=40's, 48 offset(oem), and 12mm spacers on the back.
Sits at 25" from the ground to the center of the arch, and would rub if the road was bumpy in the curves.
