Glovebox Rattle - Really Annoying

Does anyone else have (or had) a really annoying rattle from their glovebox?

Its been driving me mental, had the aluminium trim off, had the air vents off, tightened the screws behind the console (both sides) but then eventually narrowed it down to the hinge on the bottom left of the glovebox. It stops after its warmed up but tick tick ticks away when its cold.

Can anyone recommend how I might be able to stop it?

sure its not the heater that is ticking away

What part of the heater is it that could be ticking?

It stops when I open the Glovebox and hold it firmly and then stops completely when the car is warmed up. Its only been happening in winter.

i had sort of the same problem took the side of the dash off and there is a little bit what keep vibrating against the glovebox put a bit of bluetak underneath it and its gone

Do you remember what part was doing it? Where did you put the bluetak? Could be worth a try for me!

ill get photo at wekend if needed open the door carefully pop open the side of the dash look along were the dash meets the glovebox and there should be a little plastic bit sticking out stuck it under it
