Alloys advice please bbs

Hi i have a silver mk5 golf i am currently working on i am currently considering going for some bbs lm wheels black with the polished lip.. I have monza II alloys on it at the monent in anchracite colour but want the car to stand out abit more and look thhe business so was wondering if people havE any pics with a mk5 with bbs lm wheels and what are ppls thoughts on it? I really loved them alloys on the mk4 they looked awesome :)

Reps that I had for a short while, but give you an idea, think 19's are the best size though as splits always look smaller due to the dish:

Oh iv seen ur pics al your car looks sweeet pal. Did you have any issue with thesee alloys? Any rubbing or anything? Also what you recon alloys like them but the splits in black. I was thinking 19s in lm reps will be heavy wont they

Nope, no issues or rubbing, just be careful as there isn't much clearance on the back even when running standard brakes, unless you have some spacers fitted.
Have heard since a few horror stories about LM reps snapping though, genuine ones can be had for around £1200 I think.
Splits in black would be cool, especially if you had a silver fleck put in them too :D

Oh okaaay. Did you have spacers fitted to yours? If so what spacers? Yeh iv been looking around for bbs lm alloys originals just wheels are over £1200+ :(. I think reps can be bought for £500, thats dangerous that is if they snap :( uv just given me a shock al lol. Yhyh inooo that wud look wicked on the silver mk5.
