Please help! My car keeps juddering!
« on: March 05, 2012, 02:02:14 pm »
Hope someone can help

Having a few probs with my 05 plate gti. A while back i replaced the torn dv with a forge one. A few days ago my car started to splutter and judder. I put my foot down and nothing was happening and the engine was stalling at junctions.
My revs are fine at tickover.
Anyway had a look at the dv and one of the vaccum hoses was torn so i ordered some more silicon hose.
In the meantime i put the torn dv back on until i could replace the old ones.
When i put the old dv back on my car did not judder at all and did not stall out even though i had a leak it seemed to be alot better.
Now that i have put the forge dv back on with the new vaccum hoses i m stuck with the same problem :sad1:

Any help would be appriciated!

To be honest if you fit the latest revision of the OEM one you can save yourself a whole load of hassle and eBay the Forge device.
