Seat-Bolster Repair !
« on: March 05, 2012, 12:41:47 pm »
OK, I haven't actually bought my MK5  GTI yet, not for the want of looking ,I've looked at six cars so far and 5 of these had wear to the drivers seat bolster.
Can anyone point in the direction of a decent not to mention fair price upholsterer to get one repaired (cloth not leather)...

Birmingham/W-midlands area, as I don't want to dismiss one just because of a seat repair.

your_message   Can you give me a quote to retrim my drivers side support bolster on a mk 5 Golf GTI. Its getting worn where I get in and out of the car. Must be original cloth please.

This guy was recommended on here. Looks like its £75 or you can get a whole new VW seat back cover for about £150 +vat, bit cheaper trade.

Thanks Mate, but there based in yorkshire, if I do end up with one needing the bolster-repair, would need to find somewhere a bit more local.
