Your stud pattern (pcd) is 5x112 so there not a direct fit you would need some adapters

it would help if you post the et of the bmw wheels that way we could work out if the bmw wheels will fit under your arches

So they have to be 5x112. To fit without messing around. So rules out most of them.  :signLOL:What is et? And what does it mean in plain english please..

et in plain english is how much the wheel sticks out in the arch http://www.raceandroad.com/technical-help/alloy-wheel-offset.html the mk5 golf likes an et of 40-50 ideally depending on the width of the wheel

ET means offset so how much your wheels stick out towards the fender, The lower the number the further it sticks out and vice versa, I think the max a golf MK5 can take is 8.5 inch wide wheels, offset 45 with 235/35 size tyres, But for that you would also need to do the fender mod, And of course it depends on the offset firstly

Maybe thats why getting minor rubbing on humps with a full load !

My wheels are 18" Offset 45 8.5 wide on 225/40/18, lowered 30/20 !

Been thinking to upgrade shocks to FSD, however I love the stance it is now and I have read FSD raise the height of the Car.

Its only minor rub on humps with passengers or heavy shopping !

I run BMW rims on my ride, I use apdaptors which also double up as the spacers and have put a little stretch on the tyres to get them into the arches  :happy2:

go read this: http://www.eurotuner.com/techarticles/eurp_0806_wheel_hub_adapter_tech/viewall.html

Both drilled and grooved, they are ok got them more for looks, slight improvement over OEM.  The main change was upgrading to EBC Yellow stuff pads, they made a hell of a difference !
