well got my rs4 replaced, no more leaks!!

I dropped my car off at the garage to have all my bits installed LSD, Helix clutch & fly wheel, TT wish bones, KW3 V3, S3 rear brakes.

Helix clutch

quaife lsd installed.  ready to go back in the car

KW v3 installed  (rub like hell   )

I did around 500 odd miles to let the clutch settle in,  it is now epic but a very heavy clutch.   I also love the diff whine! :driver:

Popped up and sore nick(r-tech) to tweak my map, seems like we have problems with my can bus, keeps locking us out!  But we made some changes.

It still needs some fine tuning so will be popping up in the next couple of weeks!

Also got some new wheels from big_pete

All in all it needs the suspension fine-tuned or I am going to have no arches left, I have pushed the arch on top of the screw but still rubs. Any ideas?

What is the offset and width of the new wheels you have and also what tyre sizes? That could be the problem.

Are you missing a stud on your downpipe?

Are you running a Whiteline WALK kit?  Would be worth getting the arches rolled.

Or my Seibon fenders as i am changing mine, could you be interested?
I'm a bit puzzled by your rubbing problems, what size tyres are you running?

Over the top mod list ;o)

Remember the TT arms will add another 7-10mm track

Plus fitting the arms with the whiteline WALK kit pushes the wheels around 15mm further forward.  I bet the rubbing is on the front of the arch where the bumper joins the wing.  Only way round it is to go back to the original consoles with the SuperPro anti lift bushes (in stock!!).

Looks far lower than mine which are on clubsports and i've just got over my rubbing issue by having it raised slightly.

....I don't think so. Or at least, I just about get away with mine being as low as it is. I have to be extra careful over speed bumps and indoor car parks with ramps are a no-no, but not helped by the Mk5 GTI's long frontal overhang coupled with my OSIR front splitter.

I only rub on the front arch liners and only under very extreme loading into 90 degree corners and tight roundabouts. My bodyshop is sorting that out literally right now while they have my car for front wing rust repair under warranty.

I'm on KW V3's as well.

Also, I have the same AP front brakes plus S3 rear brakes. The S3 rears make a big difference to result in well planted and very even hard braking.
