yea i did have a cdl engine but i sold it.

I knew i was pushing the limits of the engine but it last well :drinking:    I will take the engine out monday see what failed.

I might just put a s3 engine in for now and rebuild my old bwa for a BT

i would love a TTRS engine................. :fighting2:

Hopefully the new R engine will be more then enough

That's a shame James but after seeing it at JKM I did think it would only be a matter of time.

Not sure around costs but S3 lump with rods would be a good start.  :happy2:

yea i knew that also, but it had a happy 10k lol.

i might just put a standard s3 engine in for now(that should handle the power fine?), rebuild my bwa so i can get it back on the road ASAP.

James, sorry to hear its given up

However well done for proving the durability of the BWA well into the 300's  :notworthy:

Would be interested to see what failed - especially if it's not the rods  :scared: - that would worry the ED30 crowd. . .

There's a 600hp 2.0tfsi engine for sell, gtx30 based turbo comes with clutch kit and all the other bits needed to run reliably. Massive spec for a good price!

Where n how much? I might be interested if the price is right

I was running around 380 / 380ftlb

I have a funny feeling the rods are ok n it is a piston ring
