Just read all this and its safe to say you are nuts mate, absolutely crazy build, didnt think these engines would cope with anywhere near that much power, impressive stuff.
Need to see where this is going,
Would have to be crazier than you not to sub to this  :stupid:
 :happy2:

I had a passenger ride in it. Awesome torque, you can feel every bit of the 450lb/ft. It spins the wheels in 4th in the dry

Mighty impressive considering it's basically a K04 stage 2+ with WMI  :notworthy:

Only just found this thread, alot of effort gone into this  :congrats:. Shame the images seem to have dissapeared though.

What is the current spec of the car?

James is abroad so the car hasn't changed in a while.

It's an amazing car considering its just bolt-ons with the original turbo  :notworthy:

I would love to build something if this spec one day.

Sy - have you realised from reading this thread that R-Tech has an "h" on the end?

I'll try to help, but I'm sure that I'll miss some bits.

- K04 upgrade to BWA
- BWA changed to CDL
- Full stage 2+ parts (Evoms, Autotech, R32 style catback, Decat)
- WMI
- Nology silver plugs
- THS I/C
- High flow intercooler and discharge pipes
- Catch can & pcv
- (very much) Custom R-Tech mapping (must have updated the map about 50 times)
- Quaiffe
- Helix clutch and SMF
- AP front brakes
- S3 rear brakes
- TT lower arms and front end poly bushed
- uprated ARBs

I'm sure there's more  :signLOL:

Car is outstanding and gets used properly too. Can't wait til it goes awd  :happy2:

Cheers buddy.

I was wandering if R-Tec(h) have run the fuel pump above 130bar for more power.  I know one of the latest updates to the APR GTx28 stage 3 setup is that it runs 150bar rail pressure with their HPFP.  Interested to see if R-Tech have looked at doing the same or if its just not worth it on the K04?

Would be interesting to know.

I still find it staggering that (through a combination of WMI & R-Tech's map) is that it pulled just under 60 bhp more than my Revo Stage 3 on JKM's RR, on the same day

And before anyone says it, my car was running flawlessly on that day and was hitting the same figures as K04 Stage 2+ cars running on the same day.
