Meguiars polisher or DAS-6 pro?
« on: March 06, 2012, 10:28:22 pm »
Im considering buying a machine polisher, been looking at the megs v2 and the Das-6 Pro. The Das pro one is about £50 cheaper but is it worth just paying the extra and buying the megs one? I've had the first version of the megs DA polisher and thought it was quite good. Any views on them and if there's much difference in them?

I've just got the DAS-6 Pro as all the advice i could get from DW and Pro's was the Megs is better if your using it a lot like every week or even daily.

Whereas the DAS-6 Pro is better for the enthusiast who will use 3-4 times a year at most.

As with anything though you pays your money and you takes your chances and it will undoubtedly come down to budget and personal preference :happy2:

Thanks Carl. Do you know what the difference is between the red one and the blue one on the Das pro, if any.

Ones Red and the other is Blue

I think the red ones are Kestral DAS-6 Pro and the blue ones are definately from Clean Your Car (and is the one I have)

Ordered the Das6 pro from clean your car for £99 as I thought it was a good price. Come home from work the next day and Mandy told me she cancelled the order  :surprised: But she ordered this instead for £190

You don't need a hosepipe to use a DAP  :chicken:

Hahahahahahaha

Was wanting to give the car a complete going over top to bottom, etc. Can do it without the hosepipe, but probably be frustrated waving the pressure washer nozzle around with air coming out.

be frustrated waving the pressure washer nozzle around with air coming out.

Use it to blow away water from sills, rubbers etc after washing and rinsing with a watering can :happy2:

Come see your dad, always thinking
