Right now, with a new iPad sitting on my desk, I'd say no. The screen is definitely better, but if it's going to cost you a bit to change I'd say it's not worth it.

Get a second hand one on eBay (iPad2 that is) , still get your springs, happy days!!

To the people that have either 2 or 3/HD with 3G, whats the best tariff you've found? Or is it better to get a cheap sim and jailbreak to get the most out of it?

If its on IOS 5.1 then there is no jailbreak, don't hold your breath waiting for one either, the last jailbreak for 5.0.1 on the iPad2 and iPhone 4S took a very long while

Do you have unlimited data on your phone? Is tethering an option for you?

I'm on the one plan with unlimited data on 3. When I get an iPad, I intend to just use that.
