To the people that have either 2 or 3/HD with 3G, whats the best tariff you've found? Or is it better to get a cheap sim and jailbreak to get the most out of it?

Do you have unlimited data on your phone? Is tethering an option for you?

I'm on the one plan with unlimited data on 3. When I get an iPad, I intend to just use that.

My phone contract is due for renewal next month and was going to downgrade to simplicity, as i bought my handset outright when the 4s was released, looking at simplicity i would get 500mb a month on my phone for £16 a month. How much is the one on 3?

I'm on the £36 2 year deal, but phone price is subsidised in that. However, the handset price was only £69 and there was £110 cash back through quidco.

I think they may do a sim only deal with unlimited Internet too.

Quite fancying apples recycling deal where they will give me £165 for my 64gb iPad 1 3G.

Seems to save the hassle of selling but like wbac.com maybe that price is a fantasy and when they get their hands on it offer you a lot less.

I could be tempted, I may check mazumba etc later... It may be upgrade time.

Might be a bit of hassle but on fleebay the basic iPad 1's are going for approx' £200+

I refuse to change my NEW iPad 2 for the "newer" 3 just for the sake of it and to further improve Apple's bottom line.. Upgrade?

Regarding the upgrade question; it's very unlikely with Apple products nowadays that you'll see massive leaps between revisions. If you compare it to it's immediate competition it's a lot better, and for me that is far more relevant than whether it is hugely different to the last version.

More ram (now 1gb)
Better Bluetooth
Better Wireless (and network if you get the 4G one)
Better Screen
Better Cameras (not really important except for Face Time)
