Borbet c on a mk5
« on: March 09, 2012, 12:37:51 pm »
Hi guys. I have just been offered a set of 17inch Borbet c's for my mk5 gti.
I am in two minds really, I have always liked them as they are very retro but feel they might be a bit dated for the car.

What are your opinions on these or has anyone seen them on a mk5 before?

Let me know what you think?

Not for me I'm afraid, though I haven't seen them on a mk5.

I don't think they would suit the mk5 because theyre 17'' they would look wrong but if they was bigger you might pull it off

Yep size is definately the issue there. 17s IMO are just a tad too small for the Mk5. Style wise an 18" or 19" would look good I think.
