fitting r32 rear bumper question

im about to fit an r32 rear bumper to my pirelli edition... on other forums ppl say you need to replace a foam insert which is behind the bumper... i called up my local vw to order one but they say there isnt one for euro spec golfs only US?! any chance anyone on here whos fitted an r32 bumper could shed some light please?

Not much help from me but i have ordered one from tps. Then again i just gave them the part number off vw vortex.

VW are correct there isnt one on euro specs!! You don't need one!!  :happy2:

No probs. I fitted mine 3 weeks ago. Was a pretty easy job!  :happy2:

i have been considering this also. Did you have to have a custom exhaust made up?

Milltek and blueflame do off the shelf R32 style systems for the gti which is handy! Otherwise yes you will need one made up!  :smiley:

Ive fitted the R bumper to my GT TDI, used the foam that was already there no issues for me, had to cut the bumper a little but all fitted fine.

I think everyone thought you meant r32 rear not front bumper :grin:
