Is this any good for the GTI, had this in for my GT without any isses so pondering if same applies for the GTI.

If it says VW 504.0 spec then it should be fine.
Without traction power is nothing!

it has ACEA A3/B4 VW 501 01/ 505 00; API SL/CF

Can i take it as no good for the GTI?

Let's just say with those specs I would personally use another version that meets or exceeds VW 504.0.
Without traction power is nothing!
