« on: March 13, 2012, 11:42:01 am »

don't dooooooo it! - take it from someone who works in IT  :happy2:

Wait until windows 8 like EDD said, hopefully a revised version of the samsung 7 slate should be coming out running windows 8, should be very good with good processing power and long battery life (handy if your uploading maps at someone's house with no external power) just remember to check whichever one you do buy has a usb port

Depends if you need something now or can wait. If you can wait, do as above. If you need one now, then get one. Im sure Windows 8 can be installed at a later date?

In theory yes, depends on the tablet and the tablets performance. Its like running windows 7 or vista on a machine built to handle xp - its just never gunna be as smooth or as fast.
