Painting or Vinyl Wrapping

Hey everyone!

Just a quick question, has anyone had their car vinyl wrapped instead of painted and whats everyones thoughts on it?

Just enquiring to see what is best and what it will cost!

I enquired to have mine done candy white as I really wish I'd got one instead of black magic. Was quote £1000 for all in, so everything removed, wrapped and fixed back. Not bad to be honest. Personally I think its the way forward, especially if you want to change the complete colour of your car because when you come to sell the car you just peel the wrap off and you have a pristine car (i.e no scratches or swirl marks etc etc)

Providing there were no stone chips or marks you were covering up. Otherwise, very easy to remove a lot of the paint underneath if not removed properly.

Sorry, should of thought to mention that. Removal shoudn't be too bad - just a case or heating up properly like when I wrapped my bonnet filler cap went a little wonky and only noticed after it had all dried, just re-heated properly and it peeled away with ease.

^^^ this is the way to go, real easy to remove without damaging the paint/laquer.

Returning it to Stock is a bonus when trying to widen your buyers market  :happy2:
