cam adjuster, chain + tensioner

can anybody tell me if you change the cam chain and tensioner does the adjuster need to be done to? just had chain and adjuster done and i have lost stacks of power now the garage said the adjuster needs to changed????

afaik you should change rollers and tensioner with the cambelt.
If you've lost power then I suspect the alignment of the camshaft/crankshaft wasn't spot on when the belt was put on.
Without traction power is nothing!

Can you give us some background of the issues?

The variable adjuster on the exhaust cam is very reliable and Ive only ever replaced one due to the mounting pin snapping on removal.
