Thoughts on Sky F1 HD Channel

Anyone on Virgin added it to their package? What was the cost?

I've got it on virgin, unfortunately it's an extra £22 a month for the skysports package.

For me they should have done a Sky Sports Motorsport HD rather than just F1. It would have been so nice if they covered the GT Championship, BTCC, DTM etc.

Totally agree the BTCC coverage is seriously lacking these days and its getting even harder to find any decent rallying coverage.

Good shout that man! some of those championships are on Eurosport I think (could be wrong, "usually am" the misses is shouting)

That does sound like a good idea but I imagine they would have a number of clashes when races take place on the same day

i reckon plenty of people would have paid a subscription for JUST the f1 channel but most won't fork out the extra for either HD or Sports Packages

I'd have paid an extra £5 a month I think but i'm buggered if i'm paying £20+ extra

Agreed! I would gladly pay an extra £5 or so for just the F1 Channel. I don't really need the other Sports channels (the only other thing I might watch is the Golf or maybe one or two football games but can live without it)
