« on: March 13, 2012, 10:11:20 pm »
Can someone please post up some very close up pics of the R32 front Calipers please

I wont give much away, but i think ive found a way to have the R32 fronts a bucket load cheaper than they go for on ebay, im sure ive found another car that uses the exact same calipers, and said calipers BNIB are £120 each

Lots of cars use the same basic caliper as the R32  :happy2:

Focus ST (albeit with 320mm discs)
Volvo XC90 and some V70 models
Vectra 2.8 V6 T and VXR version
Mazda 6 MPS
Saab 93 /95 top end models

Most of the above also use the 345mm disc but the caliper mounting holes may well differ to the R32/S3/Cupra version

Well the XC90 use the same caliper and DISC, been checking part numbers to confirm, i use to work for a Volvo indy (till a month ago) anyway i was reading a thread and saw the calipers and thought, they look just like the XC ones,

The V70 calipers on the R are totally different, its just the XC, the XC caliper/carrier will bolt up to the mk5 hub aswell, will look a little deeper into this as it could be a budget way of having big stoppers, only problem i can see is the calipers have Volvo written on them, but a file in the right place and a coat of Blue would sort that  :happy2:

Thanks for the info
