Best Interior Detailing Products
« on: March 13, 2012, 10:44:48 pm »
I was wondering if anyone could recommend any products to restore a bit of life back into, and look after my interior.

I'm after a product to wipe over the plastics, and also a fabric shampoo, and anything else that anyone can recommend.

Has anyone got any experience with Poorboys Natural Look Dressing?

Have a look at the Auto Finesse range, been reading good things about them on other forums.

I personally just use APC as I like the dash looking standard without any shine on it, and it's cheap as chips from supermarkets.  There are lots of professional products out there though that don't leave any shine.

For the dash and plastics wipe over with Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner then dress with Werkstat Satin Prot - It's a nice matt finish, No bling :rolleye:

I also use the Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner on the seats and carpets/mats

Gone - Candy White MK5 Golf GTI (you never really forget your first true love...!)
MK7 Candy White GTI pp - you can never have enough eye candy

I use mega apc 1:10 for plastics, then dressed with PB NLD. I've not found an interior shampoo I like though using AG and the megs interior brush.

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

As above, Valet Pro Interior Cleaner can be used on plastics, fabrics and just about all other interior surfaces. Perfectly safe to use on control surfaces e.g. pedals too, so no need to worry. Well priced, smells epic and can be diluted to suit the task in hand! Highly recommended, see link below for more details!

Hope that helps,
