What did you use on the exhaust tips?

I have been working on mine as they are in a sorry state but not getting very far.

I firstly cleaned the tips with some G101 then attacked them with varying grades of wire wool and Autosol. To be honest I thought they'd had it but they eventually came up really well!  :happy2:

Mine were worse than those and I have been using wire wool and I must admit they are starting to look ok :happy2:

Where can I get a can of smoke silver? I refurbed my standard GTi wheels last year with the correct paint from VW and they look perfect.

I would like to sort a small kerb/wheel interface issue inherited from the previous owner.

Ive tried a lot of things and its nearly there just a bit of stubborn shi*t left at the bottom of the rim to shift :signLOL:

Just doesnt want to budge for me  :sad1:

Autosol and a couple of different grades of wire wool. Then used some Collinite Marine grade for protection.  :happy2:
