Thing is I don't really see team orders being anything to do with the rules. Whether in the rule book or not they've always been a feature of the sport, and a team has always, in one way or another been able to dictate which of their drivers finishes highest. The story today is that Vettel did the equivalent of shooting an unarmed man in the back.
Team orders are never going to be good for the viewer, but the only way you'd ever eradicate it is by constricting a team to one car.
