Red Bull have "decided" to reduce the use of team orders? Whatever. More like they realise that they don't have a cat in hell's chance of either driver obeying them, so why look stupid again?

^^^^ in a nutshell!  :happy2:

Brings back memories of 2007 when it was a similar ill feeling (read outright loathing) between teammates Hamilton and Alonso, either one of them could (and should) have won the championship but because of their fighting and childishness they both walked away with diddly squat!

As much as Horner and Mateschitz might say (publicly) they don't want team orders, they're only saying it as neither driver will listen now and IMHO its also a way of the pair of them, retrospectively, to defend their golden boys antics.

And again........TWAT!!

The fine art of diplomacy and public relations.

Roll on the weekend! Quali and racing should be particularly exciting with all this stuff in the mix.

Wow you guys are a tough crowd. The guy is just very naive and to young to see the whole picture a bit like Lewis was 2 years ago. You have to remember these guys grow up in a bubble a bit like russian Gymnasts, they can be brilliant a certain things and very immature about other things. I watched the interview this afternoon, he started off trying to justify why he did it then went along with the journos as they put words into his mouth, the next thing he new all of his true feelings came pouring out. I agree 100% the guy should not have gone against the team but he is basically a young lad who made a snap decision that was wrong.  :rolleye: He in my opinion is still a little bit behind Lewis and Alonso at all round driving and ultimately he knows this and feels he has to grab at every opportunity.

Red Bull are to reduce the use of team orders ? I'd say the usefulness of team orders in red bull has already been reduced to useless.

Don't overtake
Ok I won't
Oops I just did and I'd do it again

How many of us couldn't believe Lewis had left McLaren to race for Mercedes a middle running team!!

Anyone fancy some

Awesome to see him on pole.  And their car looks to be superb, but as much as id love him to win, im not expecting him to pull it off.  I think the likes of Vettel or Button will be the ones fighting it out for the lead as all the guys on the soft tyres are compromised.  Fully laden with fuel on worn soft tyres that will not last on a track that isnt rubber-ed in.  When Vettel and Button switch to the softs they will be alot lighter and on a rubber-ed in track.

Fingers crossed Hamilton wins though, and Webber comes all the way through the pack and punts Vettel off before getting on the podium himself!!  :driver:

Yeah seriously close. Half a lap more than Vettel would have done him!

Think its funny that when asked to Hamilton and Alonso who their biggest threat for the title was, they both said each other and completely snubbed Vettel. I even think they'd both rather see each other win this year than Vettel which says a hell of alot.

It makes me laugh to think that vettel has the same number of titles as both of them put together, yet put either in the same car as vettel and golden boy wouldnt look so golden.

Dont think i could handle Vettel being a four time world champion tbh  :stupid:

None of the other F1 drivers seem to rate vettel and all relate his championships to having a superior race car.  All of them as well as the F1 Journalists and ex drivers all say Alonso and Hamilton are the best two drivers.

The same could be said for previous world champions also. Button's title was due to exactly that.

Alonso is definitely the best driver IMO.
