Does it clip onto the existing one?

Hi all, can anybody please advise that all you have to do to fit this is twist the old badge off and fit the new one?

Only, from the ebay pic on the listing, it doesn't look nothing like the OEM badge in terms of thickness and shape  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Golf-MK5-5-V-GT-GTI-Black-Grill-Badge-Emblem-Logo-/220693278131?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3362582db3#ht_3417wt_1163

That's the right one mate.
It's only the front part of the VW emblem, it comes in two parts. Take off your grill, just 4 torx screws (2 top, 2 bottom just underneath your number plate mount) and then the emblem just twists 1/4 turn and pops out. Then carefully separate the 2 parts of the emblem and put your new one on and put all back together.

Cheers mate.

I understand some people get away without removing the grille and just remove the badge only. I'll try that option first.

I must say from the fitted pics above, it looks good in a gloss type black finish as opposed to matte like the rest of the grille.

Got this badge on mine, fits very well & easy to fit. All u will need is a think blade or ideally a Stanley blade

Give it a go matey. If your lucky you might not need to take the grill off, mind you it's so easy that I take mine off when I clean the car, makes it SO much easier to clean inside the honey cones. Took the emblem apart couple of weeks ago to colour code it. Not to everyone's taste (meaning my wife) but I like!
