Can anyone recommend a good independent garage in the Hemel Hempstead or Watford area?

Getting sick and tired of the worry every time I take my ED30 to Citygate VW that they're just doing an incompetent job!!

I feel your pain. Bought my eddy from there. CS is a joke, I'm getting my cambelt done there Friday free of charge after much tooing and frowing.

Me and my dad have taken our vw's to an VW Audi Indy for the last ten years, 01992630333. Theyre in Waltham Cross, Cheshunt so not a million miles away. Bout 30min drive from Watford, jnc 25 off M25.

Yup, as suspected, I went to pick the car up this morning after having the cambelt and the exhaust warning light came on before I left the car park. Theyre now keeping the car and will call me back on Monday. Nearly £650....at their expense

Hey Gladiator which CG do you take your car to? The one in Milton Keynes seem to be ok, I've used them a few times on my MK3 and my Edy now. I live in Hemel and it's not too far. Plus in MK there's lots of independent VWAG guys over there too.
