I had a full set of VF Engineering ones in my last vRS. They made it sound like a 6 Pot Turbo which was rather nice. Not too harsh either at motorway speeds.

Nothing being said about them here, sorry. The oem design concerns me as it appears to have weak spots in them. I leaned toward aftermarket as the design of them seems to be capable of evenly taking forces from all directions and are more solid throughout.Look again at the broken oem version and imagine that even if made of stronger rubber as 034's is, there is still portions of the oem design that are rather thin;http://store.blackforestindustries.com/bfimk4mk5mk6.html

Think I might try to hitch a ride in TFSI Mikes so see how bad the extra noise is before I buy any ( any chance of a ride at the PDt RR day mike )If it isnt too bad, I'll be in touch Alex
I thought that was your exhaust mike. Forgot you had the mounts. Maybe that's why yours seems louder inside compared to the R
