Ive got revo on mine and it's brilliant, but I wouldn't have paid for it.

For me the best thing about it is the way it disables auto shift in M mode, much much better than it changing itself too early.

The map we have been working on is based on the S3 DSG set points, its hard to explain how it feels on the road as I dont drive one every day or normal, 9 time out of 10 I drive them WOT...lol  IMO normal driving feels more refined and smoother.

In the mapping we change the transmit torque limiters which tend to be 350nm, we just raise these to 550nm but can be set where we or the customer wants,  (on just a stage1 ED30 this will make a night and day diffrence to the power delivery)

Shift auto shift speeds between cluthes changed for sport and D mode,
Flappy paddle & M response times raised
DSG shift D & S auto limiter raised to 7100rpm (or where customer wants it at to match engine ecu limiter)
S mode has no auto shift and will hold rpm limiter for WOT but will shift which with slight throttle lift,
S mode will auto down shift to optimised rpm for given gear to so its always ready to pounce.
Launch control rpm can be set to what ever rpm the customer wants
Launch control reaction faster

We are also working on the down shift map blips and torque reduction maps between gear to give more of a kick/sporty feel to the S mode.

Or we can just read your stock DSG maps and change the torque limiters, which from seeing the results for the past month is a must have on all ED30 DSG maps or stage2  GTi maps

down shift map blips.....so do you mean it will blip the throttle every time u downshift eg heal&toe??
When is this option available nick..

Mine revs to 7.5K now  :jumping: no auto change when in M mode is a bonus, generally better to drive as it feels more hardcore and the shift pops at 7.5K is to die for  something which I never use is launch control is at 4K or over as I'm not 100% sure, power is there all over the range as the box doesn't limit anything now to protect itself

It is jerky tho if you change at about 4K whilst on full power, shakes the while car! It's pretty aggressive!

....Jerky? - Mine (Revo) is very smooooth. You don't shift gear until 7,500 revs?!! - That's far too high to be good for your 2.0T FSI engine.

Ive got revo on mine and it's brilliant, but I wouldn't have paid for it.

For me the best thing about it is the way it disables auto shift in M mode, much much better than it changing itself too early.

.... x 2

It's subtle and for the usual cost definitely not a must-have! You can drive the car and get a lot out of it without having a DSG remap. It is smooth though and it's very quickly forgotten that your box is remapped. Worth doing but not worth the prices being charged when I last looked.

No playing with the newer Temic Tricore FXX EXX stuff yet only the CXX versions. Maybe if i can get a read of the stock DSG map I can sit down and find the basics torque maps and rpm limiters, then over time can play with the shift points.  The hard bit is not having any functions documents for the ecu.

@Rich

The down shift blip is on the stock code but I am wanting to play around with the blips and torque/timing reduction maps to give more of a sporty feel and sound for cars with full dect turbo back exhausts.

Yes. If it don't the DSG would downshift like a dog.
