This is my attempt at manufacturing a fully hidden/quick release towbar for my Edition30.

I removed the swan neck section off the Whitter towbar and made a new thinner section out of box section that would fit between  the bumper and the rear panel, then fitted a quick release pin.
Its quite simple really considering none of the main manufacturers do a towbar for the ED30 because of the rear valance!

What sort of cost did this work out to be? Looks a much better option than the roof rack I was just about to purchase!

Cost me about £150 in total.
It was fantastic  when I needed my cat to go mountain biking!
I've had roof bars in the past and they are OK but this was miles better! Don't know whether to sell it or keep if for when I get another Mk5?

Why not make them as said above or at least a plan of how to make one?
