Yes Alex, but the master cylinder feels dry....

Think I need to get it up in the air and get the under try off!!

Looks like p/n is: 1K0 721 388 AB..

I will be draining and refilling the box when it gets stripped so you will have brand new fully topped up box oil  :happy2:

i'm guessing the sticky pedal feeling you referring to, is the fact that you can feel the clutch pedal has no feedback when the pedal returns and sometimes struggles to select gear with clutch in?

Do the MK5 also have the failing master cylinder or cylinder pulling thru the firewall issue as previous generations?
Hmm, this seems like it could fit the bill on my car too.

I think he means the pedal sticks down and you have to pull the pedal back up by putting your foot on the underside I the pedal and giving it a nudge back up  :scared:

had problems with my pedal also ,but remove the little bug under the clutch cilinder ,it controls the pressure or something like that ,had mine removed ,and presto no pedal problems ,but the pedal is 10-15% stiffer
