i'm guessing the sticky pedal feeling you referring to, is the fact that you can feel the clutch pedal has no feedback when the pedal returns and sometimes struggles to select gear with clutch in?Do the MK5 also have the failing master cylinder or cylinder pulling thru the firewall issue as previous generations?Hmm, this seems like it could fit the bill on my car too.

had problems with my pedal also ,but remove the little bug under the clutch cilinder ,it controls the pressure or something like that ,had mine removed ,and presto no pedal problems ,but the pedal is 10-15% stiffer
