Cape Town Coppers and me in the 458
« on: March 18, 2012, 11:22:38 pm »
Hi guys,

Just got back from my home town for the 1st time in 8 years, and boy have things changed  :happy2:
took this pic sitting at some red lights, not sure what the copper was doing??

After taking the pic I drove past him and took another 1 closer.

After taking this pic he saw me and pulled me over at the next set of lights telling me it was illegal taking pics of the cops, and that he didn't want to appear on Facebook or Youtube  :signLOL:  I told him about the forum and what a nice car he had so he changed his mood
Now for the better part of my holiday.....you couldn't remove the smile off my face!!!!

Side view

What a weapon she is, and only 1 of 3 cars my mate has there.  I think I'll be asking for a job  :signLOL:
Listen to her, she's an absolute weapon!!!!  :notworthy:

I'm still smiling now, so you can imagine!!!

The paddles were absolutely massive though, so completely different to the S3's.  And it has no stalks (not that I noticed), everything is on the wheel  :signLOL:

:signLOL: :signLOL: it was my 1st time back home for 8 years and things have changed radically!!!
The guy that owns the 458 is a good mate of mine from school days.  He also has a Maserati and a Bentley and he's young than me
I went in the Maserati the night before, and the noise from that is Biblical, we both agree it sounds far better than the 458, but is considerably slower.
Never went in the Bentley though, wasn't really interested, not my sort of taste.  The 458 and Maserati are
He convinced his father to buy a Bentley Azure which his father now wants to sell after 3 months of owning  :stupid:

Very cool! 458 is as expected  :driver:

Was the Mk6 GTI the most valuable police vehicle they have out there? Seems a bit odd to me that they'd have that from a financial perspective, decent though!
