I believe in Cape Town they have Beemers as well, but in Johannesburg they have Porsches I think?
Talking about residuals, in South Africa they spend 3 times more for cars than we do here  :stupid:  he paid around £350K for the 458, so you can imagine the loss on the Bentley  :sick:

Agreed on the Maserati - a neighbour of mine has one and it sounds unbelievable. I've never been a massive fan of the sound of V8 Ferraris.

All their car prices  there are ludicrous!!!

My other mate bought a 2008 2nd hand X5 and is paying £800 a month on finance :stupid:

Agree, I had a Masser 3200GT, the twin turbo V8, loved that car. Really sad day when it went, but was costing a bomb to run.

Yep car prices in SA are mental. I have a 4 year old Fiesta Zetec here I am sending over to my 18 year old daughter in the next month or two. Had the car from new and only 26k miles. Far cheaper to pay the £3600 shipping and duties, etc. and give her a car with a great spec and a known history, than trying to buy her something out there that has far less spec and you have no idea how it's been treated.
